You gotta love fresh baked Atlantic salmon and it is so easy to make!
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
6 oz individual servings of Atlantic salmon
Extra virgin olive oil
Fresh ground pepper
White wine (use any white wine that is good enough for you to drink. Take a big sip to make sure it is pleasing. I'd reach for the herbal, aromatic, and delicious Alsatian Gewurztraminer:-)
Spill a small amount of olive oil over the top of the salmon. Use your hands to coat all sides of the fish with the olive oil. Salt and pepper the flesh and lay each piece in the baking dish. Pour a delicious white wine over the salmon to make about a 1/4th inch collar around the fish. I like to use a baking dish that is attractive and can be taken from the oven to the table. Put the salmon in the preheated oven and bake thick fillets for 30 minutes. If your using thinner filets, 18 minutes ought to do it.
